Brain Training (Neurofeedback)
What Is Brain Training?

Brain Training is a tailored exercise for your brain, where you strengthen the neural pathways so it can run your body more efficiently and care for itself. There is a lot going on inside of your brain, and it is possible to harness all that activity to make you healthier, more relaxed, and more focused.
Brain Training uses Neurofeedback, also known as EEG Biofeedback, to teach your brain to regulate itself. It can address problems like anxiety, sleep disorders, emotional problems, and attention/concentration/memory deficits. It also can address other brain-regulated conditions, such as seizures.* Various assessment methods are used to determine an individual’s needs, and specific brain frequencies are then targeted to help train your brain. It is appropriate for adults, teens, and children.
Get to Know Your Brain

During the Brain Training session, non-invasive sensors are placed on the head and connected to a computer. They read your brainwaves, which are displayed in real time on the computer screen. As you receive feedback from your own brain activity, your brain is taught how to change its activation patterns. It is a painless yet effective way to change behaviors and emotions.
Activation patterns are different depending on the situation you want to manage. Your brain’s performance is rewarded, and gradually it learns to change itself. Your behavior modifies as the appropriate brainwaves are reached. With practice and reinforcement, the effects can be long-lasting.
